Harmony UMC Membership voted to change from a  part time pastor to a full time pastor church. The vote was taken on Sunday, June 22nd at a called church conference, presided over by Danville District Superintendent Bruce Tuttle.  Pastor Robert Hardy began his tenure as Harmony's first full time pastor on October 1, 2008.
